I was just talking to my husband and telling him about the post I just wrote about Localism and Hit Router being so productive and on the level of "rockin"!
We both are so amazed at the "sling-shot" effect that being in the RAIN has for people. The leading-edge knowledge that is available here within the RAIN is totally awesome for sure.
David, my husband's remark regarding the level of learning and boost I've received from being part of this forum was as it "being a testimony to the benefits of participating in a Networked Improvement Community (NIC)". NIC is another term coined 20 years ago by the Bootstrap Institute of collaborators working with Doug Englebart. Pure and simple...that's what we have here in AR is a networked improvement community.
I know....I'm a broken record and no one really cares why it works....just that it does work. Anyway....I just had to share my joy at being part of this forum and my gratitute for all the opportunity it has afforded me.

Yes, the daddy is active rain. . and they are serving Google juice everyday.
Get very positive responses from Localisms.

I'm positive about the google juice, but less positive about hit router. How can you see the traffic you get from hit router?
Cool and so true!~ Its hard to think back pre-a/r and how disconnected life was comparatively speaking! :-)
Network Improvement Community......I like it. You can tell that's a phrase that has been around for some time but I'm glad we could build on it :-)
Fernando, thanks for coming in on this discussion....:-)
Roy, that's great!
Vickie, I always ask my clients how they found me. With Listing Router they usually come through on my Activerain com board. I then ask how they found me. They can also contact me through my IDX...which again I always ask how they found me. I'm starting to send people to Localism for a wealth of reasons. They don't always see just me, however that is okay. If we all operate on the value level then they will appreciate this cool resource.
Liz, how nice to hear from you. I so agree. I can't conceive of real estate without AR....it's the cream for my coffee so to speak.
Bob....it's true that it seems rather duh.... now. But back then we had really no way to build such a hugh system/infrastructure that is as responsive as AR is and does such a huge amount of diverse things. I wish Doug Englebart could sit down with you. He would truly love to see how his vision has come true (however he would see it as a small application of the concept). He's like that! Thanks for stopping by!
