Jeanean Gendron, Your Shasta County Real Estate Specialist: Rockin' out with Pixie Lott - Celebration of Love!

Rockin' out with Pixie Lott - Celebration of Love!

This is for my boy....who left this world on March 18, 2008....I miss him so...he taught me so much about music...he was a great eclectic lover of music and while I don't know for sure that he would like this song...it calls to me with him in mind. He was my teacher and protector in so many ways. Here's one for you, Christopher....love ya baby!

Note* This is not meant to be sorrowful but rather a celebration of life. We have little time here to make a positive statement. Our dearest loves, our achievements, our joys and our loses bring to us the experience of who we are. We have choices. We open our hearts and we allow or we close our hearts and die. I have embraced my faith in all that is good and right and find only joy and celebration of a beautiful soul....my son! Please celebrate with us in the memory of our son.

We are nearing the two year anniversary of my son's leaving this plain of existance. He is no longer here to influence me about music. He was exceptional in so many ways and taught me so much. He was my very best friend in life and I miss his companionship and always will. I am such a better person for having had the beautiful boy in my life. Each year, I find new levels of comfort in acceptance and allowance for life's gifts in joy and in sorrow. I am truly blessed!

His colors were always orange, yellow and red! Love ya baby!

Jeanean

Your son had a super mom, and his spirit lives on in enjoyment and compassion in you. Nice colors. My son and I have a real tight bond in music.

Jeanean, It's a beautiful song and I am so sorry for your unspeakable loss.  I know your son would have loved anything you chose from the heart and I'm sure he loves this.  I wish there were words to convey the sadness I feel.

Charlie...my friend....thank you for your concern and I do appreciate it. So many people have reached out to us and it does really help. What we find over time is that our grounded beliefs in the beginning which were rather in the background, overtime move steadily forward. As we healed, our beliefs became ever present and remain in all we are and do. My life has changed. However, my life is even richer for this great and sorrowful loss. My husband and I are rather flattened...and I kid around that we are "flat as fritters". Having been "steam rolled" in life provides one a new perspective. Overtime, sorrow gives way to celebration and the knowledge that you were so fortunate to have had this very special person in your life. My son was such a blessed gift. I am so grateful!

I truly mean that I am blessed!

Hello Tom, I am so glad that you share many things with your son. It is the greatest gift in this life....and music is such an inspirational connection. My son taught me so much and I am grateful for who I am today because of his influence.

Hello Carole, I am so appreciative for your words of kindness...but we are healing and I write these posts to help others who have experienced loss. We can overcome and celebrate the fortunate nature of what we have been given. My son and the time I have had with him will always outweigh the fact that he is now no longer with me. I celebrate who he was and how much of a gift he was to me in my life. I would not be who I am today without knowing him so well. He was the greatest gift to me and I am so blessed to have had him for the short time that I did. Live each day to the fullest and never hesitate to tell those you love that you do love them! I have to say that I never turned my back on him in his struggle and I shall remain grateful forever for that fact. We fought hard to save him! I will love him forever in this lifetime!

Jeanean - What a beautiful song and loving tribute to a very special spirit that you shared time with. I know how unbelievably difficult this loss must be and I am amazed at how well you are handling it. It's so special that you are able to share Christopher with us and share your healing process as well. You are a wonderful person and I'm so glad you are able to say you never turned your back on him in his times of trouble! That is a very powerful gift. Take care my friend! Chris
