Redding CA - Winter Shot of the Sacramento River and the Sundial Bridge!

Redding CA - Winter Shot of the Sacramento River and the Sundial Bridge--My husband and I love to stop by The Sacramento River when we are out and about. We have many favorite stopping places in which we spend some time with The River. These are our haunts and we always manage to make these stops to be with The River and to also manage a shot or two. We both carry our cameras everywhere.

I took this shot yesterday at Turtle Bay. We were out at the Gun Show at the Convention Center. We were looking for my birthday present....that .38 I've always wanted. It's turning in to more than I bargained for, however. David is now wanting all kinds of new toys and I'm like....ok...it's my birthday wish....butt out!

Anyway....very few hand guns....so we did not stay long. Turtle Bay is very near the Convention Center and so we spent some time at The River. Here is my Winter Shot of The Sacramento River and the Sundial Bridge.

Hello Trey, I do hope you can come visit our area and I can personally show you around. That would indeed be a formal honor.  We all love Spring and Mother Nature's beauty!

Jeanean, I have seen bridges like this near Amsterdam.  Very cool.

Marcia, it was built by a European. I've written about him often. He's quite famous for his bridges. I should recall his name....but must be too early. We are most fortunate to have such a beautiful and integrated architectural landmark. It truly is the heart of Redding and has pulled the City together in many ways. Tourists come from all over the World to see it and we have built a beautiful park around it. Turtle Bay Exploratorium offers the community and visitors many enjoyable projects. Thanks for the visit!
