My Ornamental Flowering Pear tree is in full blossoming glory right now and as we left yesterday....David punched me and said "Aren't you going to take a photo of that tree that I pruned so nicely!". Well, what could I do but stop and take a photo of the lovely tree in full bloom.
I have to say that I'm really ready for Spring and all her Glory! I love seeing the trees coming out and the spring bulbs blooming. Being such business working Realtor type people, we don't have time to plant them ourselves and so later today....I'm wandering over to my neighbors house to photograph her pretty spring flowering bulbs. Soon, very soon, I shall plant some of my own.
I digress and so here is the photo of my lovely Flowering Pear Tree.

Jeanean:
Wow - amazing blue sky background. Great contrast. California is an amazing place!
That's a beautiful picture. I love the blue sky behind the white.
Great picture Jeanean. I love spring so much I just wanna sneeze!
now you ae just teasing me with that photo!
we took a hike to the river behind our home and are seeing signs of Spring :)
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Wow, Jeanean, what a beautiful tree! Does it have a scent? I think I can smell lovely spring blossoms all the way here from your yard....
Jo
Jeanean - Those are magnificent looking blossoms, and gorgeous against that pure blue sky!
Hi Jeanean, I remember those so well as early signs of spring in your area. They are so beautiful. Enjoy the season.
Ron and Alexandra....you are funny...this about "no snow" and spring. I guess I can get there with a flocked Christmas tree not being natural....this is the real deal. Spring in California....at my house! Thanks for coming in on this easy comment post!
Hey Mike, thanks for the visit and comment. California rocks for climate and weather. Visit soon and we'll take you for a tour...of our gorgeous area!
Hey Chris, my dear friend. Thanks for the visit and encouragement....budding photographer here....I am always a "work in progress". Always so fun to hear from you. Check out my tribute to Christopher! Love ya! Time moves us from grief through stages to celebration. Thanks for being my friend!
Mike...LOL...WOW that was funny....so is the story with my husband. I see flowering fruit trees and he sees "POLEN". Too funny. Thanks for making me laugh.
Hey, Charles....I love your part of the country also. You must pay us a visit and we must meet up....love your work!
Hey, Jo! Actually they don't smell very good. David was in the front yard with our neighbor and they kept saying "what's that bad smell" and it ended up being the fruit tree. Must be Nature's way of attracting pollinating insects....you would think it would smell good!
Meryl, thanks for the stop by and nice comments on my fledgling photography....I'm having lots of fun learning and my new toy rocks.....I'm always a "work in progress"!
Hey, Frank! Thanks for the visit and nice comment. I love Spring here...Winter is 5 months long....gray and sterile....spring and summer is rich and glorious. I appreciate your visit!
We're so glad to have most of the snow gone I might guess we are a month away from the flowering trees being in bloom. We are seeing signs of the spring market also.
Hi Jeanean,
I love that photo of the blossoms! How beautiful! Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. Thanks for sharing your great photo!
