Redding CA - Happy Father's Day to All the Wonderful Dads Out There!

Redding CA - Happy Father's Day to All the Wonderful Dads Out There--I am grateful on this day for all the good things my Dad did for me in my lifetime. I am also grateful for all the men in my life that have in someway mentored and taught me life's lessons from many perspectives. When I was younger, I always enjoyed the company of Men to that of Women. The Women sat around chatting and making tea while the Men where outside telling great stories of adventure and sharing their experiences. Women have made great strides to change how we are viewed and I now find Women to be as good in company as Men. That is a nice observation.

Back to this day of special tribute to the Fathers all over the world, who are brave and courageous. These men have fought for our Country and been our protectors in so many ways.

ThunderboltsMy Dad, Herbert F. Rule was an Air Force Pilot in World War II and flew a high altitude bomber called the "The Jug", "Thunderbolt" or the P47. He was kind and always taught me things. We took hikes together and he was always there for me. Thanks Daddy for being my best friend and for giving me the confidence to be a fighter in life! I've needed it!

My Husband David Gendron is one of the kindest and most beautiful people I know. He is an artist, a heck of a software developer and lots of fun to be around. He's funny and keeps me laughing even when I feel like crying. He's my best bud and teaches me things on a constant basis. He is such an amazing person and on this day I am most grateful that he is in my life.

My son-in-law, Joel McIntosh is one of the nicest, smartest and sincerely good people that I know. He is one of the Finest Fathers that I have ever known. Happy Father's Day Joel. We love you very much and appreciate you on this Special Day!

To all the Dads out there on this day, thank you for being the best thing since "sliced bread". Well, I guess we can do better than that. Thanks for being the side of the equation that brings silence and strength for Man's Endeavors. Without you, there would be nothing! Now that is more profound! Happy Father's Day!
