When Falling...Dive - Or as My Husband Likes to Say - Just Jump In and Get Wet!

These are my babies. Each and everyone built by yours truly. I like each and every one of them and I encourage you to step into the world of Development and build your own blog sites. Now, I've heard lately some pretty nasty things about the "AR Gods". I'd just like to say that first, I don't like that term and secondly, I just so disagree. They are magnanimous to a fault and just put out the best they can find as featured posts. You try reading all our posts everyday and finding the best for an extremely diverse group of people with many different levels of expertise.

This will not be a featured post because it is meant for those who are on the cusp and have already been thinking about doing this. It's not for the faint of heart and yet it yields great reward. So to that rather small group that's ready for an adventure, here's a post for you. These are my outside blogs and they produce for me the results to sustain my business.

ActiveRain      The Shasta Lifestyle      California Properties and Land

Northern California Properties and Land      Redding Properties and Land      Redding Real Estate Ramblings

Shasta Listings      Short Sale Help for Sellers      The Real Estate Green Frog Blog

First Time Home Buyer      The Redding Golfing Lifestyle      Redding Elegant Homes

JRGendron website

I hate to tell you but there are even more blogs than are here. There's my outside blogs for three ActiveRain Accounts. I have my account, David has his account and we also have a Ranch and Land account. He's not had time to make the pillow photos yet. We also have an REO listing site that's new and a Western Properties and Land site that is also not represented here.

So buy "Wordpress for Dummies" and get started. I wanted David to build me an outside blog and he was busy with paying jobs (we don't say no to paying jobs) and so I started building them myself and I think I have a runaway train. Just kidding....I'm pretty done. I do have an idea for one more which will be built on Joomla and eventually be my main real estate website.

I'm so proud of my babies. They dance!

I am Jeanean Gendron, your Redding and Shasta County Specialist. I can be reached at 530 276-7417. I answer my phone.

My husband and I are Developers and we've been building websites and databases for over 20 years. The nice thing is that with WEB 2.0 and Social Networking, we see the ability for development to be available to those in a user friendly environment where you can own your own content. That's a great and powerful new development. You are no longer held hostage by a Developer requiring huge amounts of money to build your websites or blog sites.

I still like my first blog "The Real Estate Green Frog Blog" best!

My stars -- are you kidding!   When do you sleep.  This is spectacular!!!!!  By the way, I agree with you; I absolutely love AR and have found every single person to be very helpful and always professional.

I want to be you when I grow up!

Jeanean,

OMG, you mean this are all individual blogs? How in the world do you do it?

Thank you Maureen. One usually has attachment to what one creates. Thanks for the stop by! You don't realize what a thing you've done until you line them all up like good little babies.

Tish, thanks for the stop by and read. It's not really all that hard. They only each get a certain market segment. The majority of them are for unique properties so that I can target about 3 to 4 key search terms for that blog. Instead of having one blog that is well diversified, this allows me to come up with Multiple spots on the first page of Google.

I so agree about the management here at AR. We all should be more grateful. It's so easy to take things for granted. Those members that have been here the longest tend to have the best perspective and they know what has come and gone. With life comes wisdom, sometimes!

Lynda, I referred to the formula above. Each one represents a niche market. My conerstone is ActiveRain and from that I repurpose my posts out to these other blogs. They only go out to the correct niche market. The result is that I tend to own the first page of Google if I do it correctly. I get all my business from this interconnected circle of connection. Pretty cool, hey! Well thank you ActiveRain for a wonderful journey and helping me to connect to the Consumer. Thanks for the stop by and read, Lynda. I hope you are well!
