California Ranch and Land - Sunset on the Ranch in Cottonwood - Beautiful Evening--we were out taking a night shoot of our 112 Acre Ranch in Cottonwood. Our sweet clients fed us dinner and while we sat at the dinner table out on the deck watching the Sun go down for our night shoot, I took advantange of the opportunity for some shots at Sunset on the Ranch!

Hello Bill, thanks for the stop by and look see. Yes, I love living here but I also love your area. David and I spent many a vacation fly fishing the Easteran Sierras. We use to live in Groveland and take day trips up to Tioga Pass for some fly fishing. We'd stay at Tioga Pass Resort for excursions over to your area. June Lake is beautiful in the Fall. Jeanean - The warm evening glow that prsents itself on those photos is wonderful! Isn't it wonderful how green things stayed so late in the season this year. That is one of the things I've loved most about our milder than usual weather this season.
Now THAT is my kind of living... I think that is my true calling. I do live on acreage here in CA, but gotta love these pics!
Hello Myrl, thanks for stopping by to view the photos. This particular ranch is unusual here. Most are very dry now and golden. There are 25 acres of wetlands on this ranch and he has a state of the art irrigation system. So it stays green all year which is unusual in Shasta County. It is really well managed land. These were fun photos and taken with leisure as we enjoyed the beautiful evening together.
