Jeanean Gendron, Your Shasta County Real Estate Specialist: Going Postal Over Blogs!

Going Postal Over Blogs!

I am wondering where we are all going with this effort on mutiple blogs. Will we all end up going postal cuz we lost our minds and went crazy. I'm dreaming about blogs and how everything fits in a blog. They are different colors and have different numbers and I must be sure to get the right thing or activity like cooking dinner in the right blog. These are dreams for now....but am I seeing the future and this will become my reallity?

Let's all hope that we have an SEO strategy for our niche markets that will create a ROCK YOU reality instead. Just funny ponderings. I miss everyone....I've been so busy building blogs........

I know, there is also so many social media websites..someone needs to come up with a website that feeds all of our social media... needs :)

Dear Jeanean,

I think your right. I have so many blog ideas and other things bouncing through my head, it can be hard to keep track of it all. Good luck!

I haven't talked to anybody in 3 weeks because I have been blogging!!!!!  I'm kidding...  but sometimes it feels that way.  I hope that my efforts with blogging on 4 different sites will help project me up the rankings and when somebody googles "Fort Wayne Real Estate" that "Jared Christiansen" will be higher and higher on the list!  Man, that was a shameless plug wasn't it?  :)

Provide relevant information about the industry and who you are as a person.  Write down your ideas.  I keep a list.  When I think of an idea I write it down and go from there.  I've been here just over 2 months and have posted well over 100 articles.

As with everything, moderation! Blogs are a tool, not a way of life! I think of blogs as a mass email that I can use to showcase my personality and expertise, but if it's an all day thing....then the interaction part of your business is missing.

Hi Jeanean

Blogging is an excellent source for social networking, but it should remain fun it's not a job.

Good luck and Success

For now, I just blog at AR.  I'm overwhelmed with so many social networks, I can't keep up with them  if I have to do other real estate tasks.  I often checked "Oyster Bay Homes for Sale" or "Brookville Homes for Sale" and my blogs every so often make the first page and I'm getting at least one lead a week so it is not so bad.

I have been encouraged in the last few days, by associates in my office proclaiming business coming from AR and that is where I am going to concentrate the time I have alloted to blogging! AR is giving us a forum that will distribute our blogs to the outside world and they are giving us new services daily! These guys really rock!!

Hi Jeanann - There are multiple opportunities for social networking.  However, I have found none that compare to Active Rain.  This site offers so much more than the others and the platform is easy to use.

There are some days where I feel you are exactly right.  I wake in the morning and the first thing I do is head to the computer and start blogging.  Maybe tomorrow I'll say hi to my wife first....

Lou: I agree with you. But, have you ever found or heard of it taking over and becoming  a "job" for some?

Hi All,

We are actively building tools for Social Network Management tasks...Our SocNetManager will be released soon..

We also built the Blog Comment Assistant for Real Estate to do exactly what is described above. That is, to genuinely participate with other bloggers.

Please give it a review, if you would.

I just blog here, for the most part. The only reason I have the AR outside blog is because it's free and I can post there by checking the box. I have another blog at realestatewebmasters.com which I started the same time I did AR. They come up well on Google, which is what I wanted, but they don't have the social interaction- no groups, no points, not many comments- so I tend to neglect it. AR is more fun.

Personally I am trying to slow down. To many blogs, websites and Social sites to keep up with...

I am also limiting my time on AR...

I have my blog on my web sit and I blog here.  Probably, the best I can do.  But it seems to be bringing people to my site.  Just a trickle for now, but hopefully a lot more later.
