My husband and I share a love of the water. The result of that is that we have owned a few boats. Like many! This was our little lake boat when we lived in the Sierras. We lived at Pine Mountain Lake (a fly-in community). We had an Alon Aircoupe and commuted into the Bay area, where we stayed on our Hershine Tri-Cabin Trawler in the Estuary across from Jack London Square. We had the end tie and enjoyed 10 years of high adventure in the protected Bay Waters. We did venture out the Gate but rarely.
This is David at the helm. We shared this duty and took Coast Guard Classes to feel comfortable and safe in our boating.

Here we are going under the Bay Bridge.

On the return trip, this is a view of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge.
This was our baby Ganapati (Remover of Obstacles).

She was a 37' Hershine Tri-Cabin Trawler. We outfitted her to do coastal cruising. We always planned to do the Baja Cruise with the Latitude 38 gang. Never managed the 6 months to do it. We should have tried harder.

Our little Dingy...for going ashore on cruises.
Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane with me. We had 10 great years of boating. We later sold the vessel and bought a sailboat, a Catalina 30 and learned to sail. We rather did it backwards. Great times and why we love boats so much

Good thing the waves were down on the day you took the photos or I might have gotten sea sick from the photos. Riding on the water and my system doesn't mix very well. Hope you have lots more years of enjoyment on the water.
