Leading Edge Real Estate ~ Blogging ~ Dynamic Repository of Knowledge and Real Estate Trends!

Building for the ConsumerOur world has changed. We no longer get floor calls or walk-ins. The newspaper does not bring leads. Are you a change agent? The market changes rapidly now. We see substantial market decline in months rather than years. The Theory of Chaos indicates that we are not sure what will come next. What do we know about the future? What will real estate require of those that bring real estate services to the consumer?

Internet Marketing Presence--buyers and sellers will be requiring the on-line marketing presence of listings and community data and market reports for specific areas and markets.

Market Data and Consultant Analysis of Trends--leading trends and their interpretation to the consumer will be critical to helping your client make good decisions in the purchase of real estate.

Leading Edge Delivery--technology solutions that help the Consumer learn about market value and lead them to buy and sell real estate will be of primary value to the consumer. The on-line presence of knowledge-based systems of information and trends will offer the Consumer what the future of real estate has to offer.

Dynamic Repository of Knowledge--knowledge based systems of data, information and knowledge (definition of knowledge is the perspective of human discernment on the trend of the data and reliable interpretation of the information).

Social Networking and Blogging--With the introduction of social networking and the success of blogging, agents are able to provide the community with their local data and the connection of the community. Agents can provide and establish a repository of knowledge-based posts on a multitude of niche markets to help their consumer access knowledge and information in their area of interest.

The Internet will be so knowledge-based that those technology oriented Consumers will have the opportunity to prepare and educate themselves prior to engaging the agent and the process of purchase. This transparency will lead the Consumer to feel confident to engage the agent that has invested and is providing this knowledge-based service through organic blogging.

Join the Revolution in Real Estate. Blog your knowledge to your Consumer. It IS THE FUTURE!

Note: Dynamic Knowledge Repository (DKR) is a term that Doug Englebart "coined" and used many years ago to describe the future of technology and how it would be used. It was rather a "think tank" term and today it is seamless and effortless in the form of Blogging. Thanks to ActiveRain and the huge group of Bloggers evolving and using technology to help their clients. We are building a DKR! When you meet a prospective seller at an Open House and You can send them to a historical record of market reports for their area....you've sent them to a DKR!

I agree that change has to happen in the way we do our business.  Change is difficult for most of us.  I am grateful for AR and the helpful people willing to share their knowledge.

I see the future and it is not print, our business is information on the Internet and we need to be seen as the experts. Good post.

While technology has made us more efficient, it's also given us more work. Because of the Internet, my business has exploded over the past several years, and because I'm able to respond within seconds of receiving an inquiry, I do. I have many interruptions in my day. I think back to how long it used to take to type one letter to a client on a typewriter. Now, I can send emails, text messages or even snail mail letters to a bazillion people in seconds.
